Haircare faves! Xox

Hiya Everyone! So I'm very sorry about not posting recently, going back to school has been really stressful so I had to take time away to settle in. Hopefully, I will be getting back to regular posts from now on!

Today I am writing about my haircare favourites because I don't think I have ever talked about hair products to you before. I have medium length, brown hair which is very thick. I always struggle with my hair getting knotty and feeling dry, so these products really help my hair feel at its best. These are my go-to products and my hair care routine (kind of?). Hope you enjoy!

When I wash my hair, the shampoo and conditioner that I use are the Dove Daily Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner.

I wash my hair 2-3 times a week and I love using this because your hair will never look greasy however many times you use it. This makes my hair soft, shiny and helps to keep my hair knot free. The bottle says that it is supposed to make your hair softer and 5x smoother, whilst moisturising and nourishing it too. I totally agree!

After I have washed and towel dried my hair, I usually leave it for about and hour before blow drying. But, before I do I use the 'Electric London' smoothing cream.

How I apply this is I take a small amount (about the size of the lid) massage into the mid-lengths and ends of my hair then gently comb through before drying as normal. This cream has a thick consistency and deeply conditions and smoothes out flyaways that blow-drying may cause. It also replenishes split ends, leaving your hair looking healthy and fresh. I love this product SOO much and would highly recommend!

If I am going for a curly look the next day, I'll put in my bendy rollers from Primark.

I find using rollers so much easier than curling my hair because it gives me much more time in the morning and doesn't damage my hair. These were such a bargain too, only £1 for 8 rollers! How I use these is I separate my hair into 8 sections and I roll the curlers into my hair and form a bun shape. Then I sleep with them in and take them out in the morning. Bam! Hair done.

If I am styling my hair, what I would normally use is the Batiste dry shampoo and the Phil Smith 'Firm Hold' hairspray.

If my hair needs more volume or a bit of oomph, I add a bit of dry shampoo to the roots. I love the Batiste range because of the price, scents, sizes and quality! They are so affordable, leave your hair smelling gorgeous, come in handbag size for travel and do wonders for your hair! That's 4 reasons to go and buy this! As for the hairspray, I'm not too fussed about which one I use but I really like this one! It gives me hold without making my hair crispy.

Thank you for reading all the way down to the end of the post! I know that it wasn't all hair care as such, but I wanted to include styling products as well. Hope you have a nice day,

Gracie xox
