My Summer Essentials!

Hiya everyone! So its nearly the end of June so I thought it was just about time I wrote my 'Summer Essentials.' I love Summer and it is my fave thing to write about, so I will probably make more Summer posts, like my makeup/hair. I also realised I had not done a clothing post yet on my blog (insert emoji shocked face here!) which is why I am bringing you this post. Everything that I mention in this post can be purchased for as little as Primark prices or as high as Burberry prices, you chose. P.S. I didn't want to post photos of me in the clothes (for privacy reasons) so please don't be annoyed!

Here's my collection! <3

  • Bikini Overall
I didn't really know what to call this (it's the pic in top left corner) but basically you put this on when you get out of the pool or on those warm summer evenings out on holiday. No joke, I probably own like five of these because you can wear these with anything and still look really cute. Also, they come in tons of beautiful patterns and styles, you feel like you never have enough!
  • Sunglasses
This is such an obvious one, but sunglasses are such an essential! They protect your eyes from the sun and still keep you looking classy! You can get many different styles of frames, but I prefer a cat-eyed style. In the Summer I can never leave the house without a pair on my head!

  • Bikinis
Bikinis may not be everyone's cup of tea, getting your body out, but when the sun's out they ensure you don't roast in a swimming costume. I adore buying new ones and painting my toenails to match! Bikinis also come in lots of shapes to fit your body shape,.
Ĝ
  • Shorts
In the Summer, I will always wear a pair of shorts to cool me down. I love to wear ripped denim shorts and a white vest top for a boho look, but pastel coloured shorts are cute too! This is my statement look for this time of year, what about you?

  • Sandals
Not forgetting the feet, I also love wearing a cool pair of sandals or flip flops in the Summer. I am really loving my holographic ones in the photo, and the black and gold ones too. Don't forget to paint your toenails too! <3

Congratulations for making it to the end of the post! Take a deep breath...
Also if you have Instagram (I mean who doesn't?!?) then why don't you follow me there @Graciepastelpink, *smirks at sneaky self-promo*
Thanks for putting up with me being really crazy this post, and watch out for summer posts from me.

Everyday School Routine!!

Hiya everyone! Today, I was really struggling to think of a original idea to write my blog post about. I know that Lexi (sorry it wouldn't let me tag you here) nominated me to do a tag, which I will do, but I did a tag on my last post. So today is my everyday school routine, which consists of a pinky-peachy lip, glowing cheeks and natural eyes. I hope you enjoy!

PS... Leave me nice comments below and don't forget to follow me on Instagram on @Graciepastelpink  !!!

So, this is the makeup routine that I would do if I didn't have anything going on at school. The products I used are listed below and if you would like a link to any of them I am happy to comment it below <3

-Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer (04)
-Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer (01)
-Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (01)
-Maybelline Brow Drama (Medium Brown)
-Collection Eyes Uncovered Eyeshadow Pallete (Nude)
-MAC False Lash Effect Mascara
-MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter
-Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick (Peach Poppy)

First I moisturised with the Re-Gen Cream (my absolute skin SAVIOUR!!) and clipped my hair out of my face. Then I used the Wake Me Up to conceal any bags under my eyes or blemishes on my forehead. Then I took the Match Perfection Concealer and brightened under my eyes, on my brow bone and down the bridge of the nose. I want this look to last all day, so I powdered under my eyes and on my forehead (I have dry skin so I don't need too much) Now for brows, I just take the wand and brush through my hairs until they are in place and coloured evenly. To highlight I take the shade 'White Chocolate' from my eyeshadow palette and put it under my brow and inner corners of my eye. Then I used 'Biscuit' all over the lids and applied mascara on both sets of lashes. For my cheeks I swept the highlighter on the apples of my cheeks and upwards. Finally, I applied lipstick and let my hair free!

Thank you for reading my routine and I will try to write as many posts as possible!
Talk soon,

MAY favessss!

Hiya, so I decided to write my 'May Favourites' because there was a lot of things that I had been loving throughout the past month. Also, I was planning on making a video tutorial to upload, so tell me if that interests you. Enough of me talking (well I'm about to talk again anyways but oh well!) and lets get on with the faves!

The first thing I am going to talk about is the Garnier Mycellar Cleansing water. I use this everyday to remove my makeup and it is really great! It is really gentle on the skin,  it takes about 10 seconds to take all my makeup off, and it leaves my skin super smooth. It is really cheap but does the job very well. Highly recommend for anyone starting out in makeup, or if your someone who just doesn't have the time to spend ages on their skin!

Next is the H&M Lip Pen in the shade 'Honeysuckle.' This is just the perfect shade for me as it is between a red and a pink colour. I have gone through lots of these and I love using this on my lips! It is in a pen form, so that means it is really easy to apply. The formula is really creamy, and the colour lasts all day on my lips. These are (I believe) £2.99, so they are well worth the money.

Now, this won't be a surprise what I'm about to talk about, but it's the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. I will try to keep this short because I bet you have heard this all before. This concealer is really thick and will cover any imperfections you may have. The only problem I have with this is the shade range; shade 1 is slightly too light for my blemishes and is more of a highlight, but shade 2 is quite dark. What I usually have to end up doing is mixing this with a slightly lighter colour before I apply.

The next favourite is strawberry flavoured Carmex. In case you didn't know, Carmex is a cheap lip balm that comes in either a tube or a pot. I love this because it is super strong and makes my lips soft and plump. I always apply this before bed, and my lips never chap or flake away. LOVE <3

And now the big daddy, my red Michael Kors bag! My parents brought me this back from their holiday, and I haven't put it down since. It has a smaller, red bag inside with a strap also. I love this bag because of all the space is has and I will always know exactly where everything is. The colour is very summery, but also autumnal, so I can use this all year round.

My last fave, which is not in the picture (obviously), is PLL/Pretty Little Liars. I recently finished series 1-5 and I am very exited because season 6 is coming out on Netflix on the 3rd! It is not the kind of programme I would usually go for, but I love it and I bet you would to!

So that's it for this month! Leave me comments about what you want next and help me get noticed by more people!

Thanks a lot,

G
