What should you add to your Summer Bucketlist? Xxx

Hiya everyone! As you probably know, the Summer holidays are just around the corner (finally!). To get me excited for the upcoming break, I like to write myself a bucket list to ensure my holiday is jam-packed with activities. Here is some things I want to do, and others that you could aim for as well!

*Travel to 3 different places on a plane or in a car

* Have an epic sleepover with my friends

*Swim in a clear sea

*Start a scrapbook of my favourite photos and mementoes

*Redecorate my room

*Give a really thoughtful gift

*Upload blog posts more regularly

*Grow my hair out/ombre my hair

*Communicate with someone that speaks a different language

*Bake an amazing cake

*Throw a surprise party for someone

*Get mani/pedicures with my friends

*Pull an all-nighter

*Get my nose pierced

*Discover new bloggers

Thank you for reading my post, let me know if there is anything else you think that I should add to my list! My links are floating around my page, and follow this blog too!
See you soon, Gracie Xxx

A Guide to the Perfect Instagram!

Hiya everyone! As you may or may not know, I have an Instagram account which I love  to use to talk to you guys! So, I did some research, and I found out the kay facts to creating the perfect Instagram! Just as a disclaimer, Instagram is not the most important thing in the world, so get off social media and go outside and have fun! But after you read this, of course! Anyways, here is my guide!

*Download VSCO cam
This app allows you to create an infinite amount of beautiful filters to get that aesthetically-pleasing feed! After this, go to Pinterest and search up 'Instagram feed' for hundreds of pre-made filters for you to use!
*Organise your photos
If you are going to take a picture of your new makeup brush or lipstick, why not arrange a few of your favourite flowers or nail polishes around it? This way the photo doesn't look as bare and plain, and your feed will look more interesting.
*Get some internet buddies
Next time you get a new follower, send them a nice message. Having friends helps you to discover accounts that others like, and help you reach your follower goals. But be safe, don't give away any personal info!
*Don't pester or hate
The worst thing that you can do is hate on someone's post. Not only does it hurt the person who it is directed at, but other followers of the page might also see it and block you. Also, don't pester people to like your photos or follow you, because people will find it annoying.
*Best time to post
On a weekday, the best times to post that bomb selfie are 9am, 11-2pm, and 6;30 to 9pm. These are the times when most people take a break from what they are doing to check their feed.
*Have fun
Remember, Instagram is all about sharing your creativity, and it really doesn't matter how many followers you have or how many likes you got on your recent picture. Just have fun!

Thank you for reading, and in case you are wondering my Instagram username is @Graciepastelpink! Please follow my blog and join our family! See you soon, Gracie xx

My Guide To Back To School!

Hiya everyone! Since back to school season is just round the corner I decided to write a post on how to be organised and look amazing for school, even when you wake up a bit too late and realise you have to leave! Because you all know that feeling! Here are some tips and tricks to be fully prepared for school.   Enjoy <3

The Night Before:

  • Chose a cute outfit (or two) and hang it up. For your first day an idea could be to wear a flowy top, leggings or jeans and a pair of floral print, low top trainers. But, if you wear a uniform, get that out also.
  • Pack all your essentials into your bag. If you prefer backpacks, why not opt for a fringed or leather one? If your school allows handbags, use a square shaped one so your papers and supplies fit easier.
Things you may need:
  • Pencil case                                                              Earphones
  • Binder                                                                    Agenda/Journal
  • Notebooks, folders                                                  Phone
  • Gum (if allowed.) If not then mints.                          Id
  • Pocket mirror and travel makeup                              Packed Lunch
  • Hairbrush                                                               Money/bus fare

In The Morning:

  • Get dressed and brush your teeth (your usual morning stuff.)
  • Cleanse, Moisturise and Prime your face ready for your makeup. The look you should be aiming for is a natural glowy look using not too much makeup.
  • Brush and style your hair. If you like your hair down then plait your bangs and clip them away. If you like your hair out of your face you could try a side braid, half updo or a messy bun.
  • Grab your things and head out the door!

I hope that I was able to help you all and get you a bit more pumped for school this year! Have a nice end to your holidays and I will see you in my next post.
See You Soon
