Current Fave Nail Polishes xxx

Hiya everyone! So I am going to talk to you about my current/Spring and Summer nail polishes. You may have seen this photo on my Instagram, but that is what inspired me to do this post! If you have not checked out my last few posts, then please do because I spend a lot of time on my posts for you all! Hope you enjoy!

Nude Shades:
*Academy Of Colour gift set polishes in Volume 2
*Primark Gel nail polish in 'Nude'

Bright shades:
*Barry M Speedy nail polish in 'Eat My Dust'
*Ted Baker nail polish (does not have a name but it is the bright scarlet one!)

Top coat:
*Primark Gel top coat

I love all of these polishes, they are all really opaque and last well when paired with the top coat!
I hope you enjoyed this shorter post, I have been writing rather long ones recently so I thought that I would vary it a bit! Please follow my blog and join our family! I really appreciate it. See you soon, Gracie xox

My Pins and How I Get Inspiration! xx

Hiya everyone! Today I am going to show you what I pin on Pinterest and also talk about my inspirations! I got this idea from +A Girl, Obsessed , her blog is amazing- you should go check it out! If you want to know what else I have pinned on my boards, my Pinterest username is @gracierosexx so go follow me! Anyways- here is what I pinned!

Makeup:

For makeup, I like to pin things I want to recreate, things I want to buy or tutorials.

Hairstyles:

For hair, I like to pin styles I would love to wear (goals) and different shades of hair colour.

Fashion:

For fashion, I like to pin boho, relaxed styles and pretty, formal outfits.

Nails:

For nails, I like to pin designs I would wear but probably not be able to do to my own nails!

Quotes:

For quotes, I like to pin messages that make me feel better about myself and feel happy when I read them.

I use Pinterest as a way of getting inspiration and even teaching me how to do new things. Another way I like to find inspiration is by Instagram. This creates a platform for me to talk to people who read my blog and people who have the same interests as me. Also, I can share my love of photography here! If you are looking for a way to communicate to others like yourself, then go get yourself an Instagram account! As you may know, I used to own an Instagram account for this page. I have just created a new one, so you can follow me to receive updates from when I am going to post and pictures of things I enjoy. My username is @graciepastelpinkk
Thank you for reading, and I will see you next week!

Yay or Nay Limited Collection Nail Polish Set xx

Hiya everyone! So since that I do a lot of product reviews, I decided to create a review-ing system to make it a little more interesting! I am going to call it a YAY/NAY and that will decide my original decision on the product. I will also give it a rating out of five stars and use these categories:
*Packaging
*Pigmentation
*Lasting power
*Finish
I hope you enjoy this, and here is my first Yay or Nay!

In the Black Friday sale this week, I received a nail polish set from Marks And Spencer (sub brand 'Limited Edition'). I believe it was £10 but I bought it for £5. It comes with 8 lovely shades, 7 sparkly and one matte.
Firstly, the packaging is really pretty and I like the gold and pink stripes. It would have been better if you could take the polishes out without having to remove the whole packaging. I would rate the packaging **** 4 Stars.

I chose to apply the shade 'Pink Sorbet', which looked like a rose-gold colour. With a single coat, the colour wasn't the most opaque. However, when I applied the second coat it covered better and looked more opaque. The final colour was very sparkly and a gorgeous metallic pink colour. Overall I give the pigmentation *** 3 and a half Stars and the finish ***** 5 stars.

The lasting power of the polishes was good but not amazing. I got about 3 days before it started to chip, but then I repainted the chip and the polish didn't chip. Overall, I give the lasting power **** 4 Stars.

Overall, I think this set is a beautiful Christmassy collection and would make a great gift. The polishes aren't the most excellent pigmentation of all time but I still really like them and think you should pick one up. So overall, this set is a YAY!!

Thanks for reading, and I hope that you enjoyed this review. Please give me any suggestions on what you would like to see next, but for now that's it for this week.
See you soon, Gracie xxx

Review: KIKO Nail Polishes

Hiya everyone! Today I am going to be telling you about my favourite ever nail polishes from KIKO. I very recently discovered KIKO when a new store opened near me and I went to check it out. I had never seen any of their products before and when I walked in it was very bright and colourful. I only picked up nail polishes, but I would love to try some of their other products!

The shades I have are Pastel Blue (385) and Mint (562).
Sorry for bad quality photo!

If you would like to see these on the website, click here: http://www.kikocosmetics.com/en-gb/make-up/hands/nail-polishes/Nail-Lacquer/p-KM00401001

Now, onto the product. The reason that made me want to look at these in the shop was the fact they come in a huge array of colours, it was so difficult to choose! Luckily, I was kindly given some testing tape to help me! Another great thing about this product is that when I got to the till, I found out they were only £2.50 each. I would have easily paid more for what you get.

When applying the product, the first coat can sometimes be a bit streaky, but when the second is applied, it all comes together to create a beautiful colour. The polish look even better with a top coat (I haven't tried the KIKO one yet, but my favourite atm is Sally Hansen 'No Chip Top Coat.')

The best part about this polishes is the lasting power. With an average polish, it will last about 2 days before chipping. But with the KIKO polish, I can easily go a week before it chips! Also, this product is supposed to harden your nails, but I haven't really tested that out yet.

Overall, if you are looking for a new polish, I strongly recommend you buying some from KIKO because they are the best!
Thank you for reading my blog and please comment anything you would like me to write about.
