Makeup Mayhem Tag Collab x

Hiya everyone! I really love writing tag posts (in fact, they are my favourite posts to read and write), and I haven't done one yet this year! So I need to change this- and I found this tag and thought it looked really fun! Also, this is a collab with one of my fave blogger friends @anonyblog ! Her blog is anonyblogx so click to go to her page! After reading this, if you feel like you want to do this tag, then copy+paste the questions and write your answers! Here is what I wrote: 

1. Do you remember your first makeup item?

Yes, it was a pallete of sparkly, cream eye shadows in bold colors! 

2. Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?

It needs to be lengthening, and preferably with a lash-growing serum in it. The closest one I have found to this is the KIKO Active Plus Mascara.

3. What kind of coverage do you prefer from foundation?

I don't wear foundation! But, for my face products I like a medium coverage as long as it isn't too cakey.

4. Favorite high end brand?

MAC all the way!

5. What cosmetic brands have you always wanted to try but still haven't? 

Urban Decay, Sleek, Bare Minerals, NYX Elf and more!

6. Favorite drugstore brand?

Maybelline or MUA.

7. Do you wear fake eyelashes? 

Not yet, I really want to try individual lashes though.

8. Is there any kind of makeup you can't leave the house without?

Mascara and concealer!

9. What is your most cherised beauty product?
I love my MAC Studio fix and my Benefit Roller lash.

10. How often do you shop for makeup? Do you like to pick up an item here and there or get lots of goodies at once?

I do go shopping quite a lot! I like to buy one or two things at a time, because that is more fun!  

11. Do you have a "beauty budget" or you spend freely? 

Usually, I will only buy drugstore makeup, but if it is a special occasion or I feel like a splurge then I will buy a high-end product. 

12. Do you utilize coupons, rewards cards and sales when you shop for cosmetics?

I have a Superdrug beauty card but that is about it.

13. What type of product do you buy the most of?

Lipsticks definitely!

14. Is there a brand that you absolutely can't stand?

No, not really!

15. Do you avoid certain ingredients in cosmetics like parabens or sulfates?

I have heard people talk about these being bad, but it doesn't bother me too much.

16. Do you have a favorite place to shop for makeup?
Boots-the shop is usually quite big!  I find that Superdrug and MAC are the worst because it is so crowded and claustrophobic in there!

17. Do you like trying new skincare products or do you keep a certain routine?

I like to keep to the same skincare routine most of the time so that I don't upset my skin. Although, when I finish a product I sometimes replace it with something new.

18. Favorite bath and body brand?

Soap and Glory or Lush!

19. If you could only buy from one brand, which brand would you choose?
MAC for sure- I have never found a product from there that I didn't like!

20. What brand do you think has the best packaging?

I quite like Benefit because it is quirky and unique! I also like Charlotte Tillbury because of the rose gold!

21. Which celebrity always has great makeup?
Kylie Jenner, Ariana Grande, Rita Ora and many more!

22. Do you belong to any online makeup communities?

If I am honest, I don't really know what this is! If anyone could let me know what I have to do to join one, please let me know!

24. Do you like multifunctional products like lip and cheek stains?

I have only tried one, but I really like it!

25. Are you clumsy in putting makeup?

Sometimes, if I am in a rush!

26. Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes?

I use a face primer, but not an eye primer. If you guys know any good (preferably drugstore) primers then put them in the comments below!

27. How many hair products do you use on a typical day?

None! If I have curled my hair, I will add hairspray though.

28. What do you apply first, concealer or foundation?

As you know, I don't wear foundation, but I wear my concealer on top of my base.

29. Do you ever consider taking makeup classes?

I would love to! I am 100 percent self taught, so having advice from someone else would be very interesting.

30. What do you love about makeup?

I love that you can be so creative with it and can transform your face into something that can make you happier and more confident! I also love how it can connect you to so many other people that have the same passion as you!
